What is the first step?

To take action on your case and speak with an experienced professional, the first step is a consultation. This hour long meeting provides people with an opportunity to explain their situation, get important information, ask questions, and get some answers. We charge $190, with a reservation fee of $20 and the rest, $170, at the appointment. During this initial meeting, the attorney listens to the facts of your case, discusses strategies, highlights the steps involved, and answers questions.

Our Approach

At Garfinkel Immigration Law, we aim to prevent problems, effectively handle existing issues, and ensure that clients understand the process. This begins by communicating directly and effectively with an experienced attorney.

Free Phone Screening (10 minutes)

We offer a free ten-minute phone screening with our paralegal. Please note this call is a limited screening  appointment, not a consultation. During this screening, we can answer questions about how we generally approach cases or which consultation might work best for you. If you want to speak to a lawyer or get answers about your case, this requires an attorney and takes more time, so we recommend that you schedule one of our consultation options below.

Standard Consultation (45 minutes)

For our standard 45-minute consultation, we charge $190. We require a non-refundable deposit of $20 to reserve your spot, then the remaining amount ($170) just prior to the appointment.  If you want us to review documents or need more than 45 minutes, we recommend you look into our extended consultation.

Extended Consultation (90 minutes)

For our 90-minute extended consultation, or a review of documents or forms, the fee is $350. We require a non-refundable deposit of $20 to reserve the spot, then the remaining amount prior to the consultation ($330). Please have your passport and visa handy.  Bring or send  USCIS receipts (forms I-797), government decisions, USCIS requests for evidence, agency notices, visa applications,  forms or evidence that you have given the government, and any criminal dispositions.
